Use of toxic pesticide has been a major activity that Kenyans have been practicing. This pesticides carry in them harmful chemicals that are very dangerous to both humans and the environment. To humans they are carcinogenic,neurogenic and they also affect reproduction,to the environment they cause pollution,water pollution,soil pollution and also air pollution.
CSHEP participated in Toxin Business discussion which was held at the national museum. The discussion was all about the Highly hazardous pesticides that kenyan farmers have been using and they are also using. Surprisingly most of this toxic pesticides are banned in the European countries and therefore the discussion ended up in introduction of biopesticides
