During the week we had a community food dialogue /Baraza at CShep Kenya Organic Foods in Ndeiya with farmers and stakeholders from Kiambu and Nairobi Counties.
The primary objective of the Community Food Dialogues/Baraza is to promote community-driven advocacy by mobilizing, raising awareness, and empowering communities to lobby for pro-people policies.
We firmly believe that effective advocacy begins at the grassroots level. As a result, communities will play a central role in advocating for their rights, agroecology, food safety, and a healthy food system. We focused on engaging local opinion leaders, influencing decision-makers, stakeholders, and relevant audiences.
