Farmers are participating in a training on Inga Alley Croppping System (IACS)Facilitated by Rev. Nsanda premous Forzong, Inga coordinator in Kenya at Kiserian.
Inga Edulis is an exotic tree and a brother to Moringa Oloifera. It produces pods with seeds surrounded by a juicy edible pulp that can be eaten like Ice cream and it takes 3 years to mature,
Some benefits of Inga Edulis is;
▪️Reclaim forests,
▪️nitrogen fixing plant,
▪️source of food.
Farmers also had a chance to have some seedlings to go and plant the tree and we hope they do well so that they are able to multiply and also train other farmers on the tree.
