Welcome to World Food Day 2025! Celebrations
World Food Day is a global celebration, observed each year across the world by organizations dedicated to safe food, nutrition, food security, climate action, and environmental conservation.
It is a day to reflect, learn, and take action towards better food production, healthier diets, and a sustainable future for all.
This year, CSHEP, in collaboration with Ndeiya Organic Farmers, Ngong Organic Farmers, and CIAT, is delighted to host an inspiring celebration filled with vibrant activities, including:
 Indigenous food cooking competition – showcasing the richness of our local food culture.
 Exhibition of organic inputs and produce – highlighting the power of agroecology and sustainable farming.
Engaging talks and discussions – on global teamwork in tackling food challenges, climate change, and building resilient food systems.
Join us as we celebrate not only food, but also the farmers, communities, and ideas shaping a healthier, greener, and more food-secure world.
The event will be held on Thursday 16th October 2024 at Cshep Ndeiya branch as from 9am.
