Getting ready for the big day.

Among cultural items to be displayed will be.

* Mursik Kalenjin milk guards.

* Gicuthi, the flywhisk, like an elder’s staff (Muthigi), was a symbol of power and authority.

*Kinya, a calabash used to store and serve porridge and muratina wine.

* Ruhia, a Muratina wine-drinking container (horns). An elder blesses children with Muratina wine.

*Kiihuri, a half calabash that served as a spoon for serving food, i.e., itaha ria Mukimo.

Diverse Kenyan cultures, i.e., Maasai, Kambas, Kisiis, Luo, Luhia, Agikuyus, and Kalenjins, will be represented.

*Welcome for the days of learning, sharing and fun.
