The day CSHEP in collaboration with Ergerton University and Humbolt University Centre for Rural Development (SLE)- Hortinlea have a book on African Indigenous Vegetables and we were very excited to launch the book. The event was held at our Training center at Ndeiya, Limuru Constituency, Kiambu County.

The event was graced with Extension workers from various organisations including: KOAN, Organic Consumer Alliance, CSHEP,COSDEP, EIPMA, Sylvia Basket, Trees for Change, Biovision, Lishe Bora, Malkia Nutrition, Lookup Media,Ergerton University and also Pelum Kenya.

We also appreciate the presence of Prof. Mary Abukutsa Onyango who is among the people who have championed on the benefits and advocacy of growing Indigenous Vegetables which are part of our heritage but with time we have come to disown.

We will have two more book launch on the 24th October 2021 and 1st October 2021 from 9am at Cshep Training Centre  at Ndeiya and you are most welcome to grace with us for this event.
