Organic farming training

Every last week of each month we hold organic farming training at our demo farm in kiserian. We were privileged to have participants from Greener Community Program and farmers within Kiserian and its environment.

Topics discussed and taught during day 1 of the training included:

Brief history of the dangers of chemicals to the soil, water and environment.

Introduction to organic farming.

Composting, how to make your organic foliar, soil and soil tillage techniques

Practical on preparing and making own foliar from Tithonia.
