Ngong organic farmers and cshep staff had a farm field visit at Cheerup program in Kimende, Lari subcounty where they got to learn more on value addition of vegetables, herbs, fruits, marketing and packaging of their products.
There after a visit to Tendo farm at Baraniki, kikuyu subcounty where the farmers learnt on rabbit farming and we got to learn on different breeds of rabbits, good foods to feed rabbits, other income streams for rabbit and the importance of proper rabbit records.
It was indeed a great day to learn from other farmers and how best one can put into practice what they have learned.
