We are happy to have hosted GEEP KENYA and children and family focus at our Ndeiya centre to learn and share on Agroecological practices, importance of practicing organic farming for a sustainable food production, pest management, establishment of a kitchen garden and seed saving.
This Agroecological practices promote sustainable farming practices that prioritize environmental health, biodiversity, and community well-being. Which is the way to produce food that is healthier for both people and the planet, while also fostering resilience against climate change and other challenges facing agriculture.
It was indeed a good day spending time with farmers and learning from them.
